Akeem Olatunji picks House of Reps nomination form 

Akeem Olatunji, the publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has obtained the House of Representatives expression of interest form and nomination form, Mouthpiece NGR reports. 

He picked the form today at Abuja after wide consultation and support from both party leaders and members. 

The PDP chieftain who emerged as the consensus candidate for the Oluyole Federal Constituency was among the ratified candidates by the committee chaired by Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja at the Government House in Ibadan. 

But hours after the news of his emergence filtered on social media, the process was cancelled due to a protest by other aspirants for primary election. 

Speaking with our codependent, Akeem submitted that he is fully prepared for the primary election as a grass-roots politician. 

According to him, with the developmental stride of Governor Seyi Makinde in Oluyole Local Government and across Oyo State, PDP is sure of victory. 

He added that he has consulted widely and has the needed experience to win the election, urging party delegates to support. 

While commending the Oyo State Governor for his good governance in the state, he maintained that the party will organize a free and fair primary.
