200 PDP members pass vote of no- confidence on Oluranti in Ogbomoso North

About 200 members of People’s Democratic Party in Ogbomoso North Local Government have passed a vote of no-confidence on Bisi Oluranti, the Consensus candidate for Ogbomoso North State Constituency, Mouthpiece NGR reports.

The members moved against Oluranti over alleged imposition by party leaders at its meeting held on Monday at DC school Masifa coordinated by a fraction in PDP in Ogbomoso North constituency.

The group also known as G7 which comprises of a member not less than 200 in attendance animously agreed to the Rejection of Candidature of Hon Mrs Bisi Oluranti as an imposed candidate of their great party to represent the Noble people of Ogbomoso North state Constituency area of Oyo state.

In a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Com James Obasa, and Publicity secretary, Com Adewuyi Adeolu Caleb (bleeding Pen), the group submitted that democratic system shouldn’t give room to imposition that fairness, equity and equality should be displayed in selecting any political candidate which according to them, was not displayed in the just concluded acclaimed Consensus Candidates.

“We therefore pass a note no Confidence on Hon Bisi Oluranti, an abroad base business man that suddenly turn to a politician and as a matter of urgency be reversed before the seat of Ogbomoso North constituency area will be conceded to the opposition again.”

Part of the communique made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Tuesday reads: “We the G7 of the youth wing Of Peoples Democratic Party of Ogbomoso North Constituency reject the annointed/consensus candidature of Hon Bisi Oluranti as our state House of Assembly representative in the forth coming general election coming up 2023″

“It is an open truth that PDP has been mismanaging the success and support gathered over the years by Governor Seyi Makinde because of greediness. Our leaders went to pick unpopular candidate after aspirants have spent several money to win election.

“During interview, this woman was absent while others were on board. We don’t know her.”

“Baba Saka Balogun who we regard as a man of honor picked an abroad base woman who had long visited Ogbomoso over grassroots politicians.

“Our leaders have collected a lot of money from these House of Assembly aspirants and could now opt for another candidate in abroad.”

“So unfortunate that out of the 13 aspirants in Ogbomoso North Constituency for House of Assembly, an abroad based Madam was picked.”

“We are appealing to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde to urgently intervene as our leaders are not concerned about the reality but their pocket alone,” the statement added. Tor
