NUGA2022: UNILORIN beats UNICAL, enters quarter-finals

The University of Ilorin, Ilorin male football team, on Tuesday, defeated University of Calabar, 3-0 to progress to the quarter-finals of the ongoing Nigeria University Games, NUGA2022.

The two goals scored by Ogungbenro Mustapha and a goal by Igo Godwin was all they needed to book their all important three point in the thrilling encounter.

As the visiting boys played to impress their teeming supporters and worked hard to get their backing against a very competitive opponent.

One of the best in the team, Ogungbenro Mustapha told newsmen that he was delighted about the victory.
