As the nation moves closer to the general elections in 2023, Oyo PDP Chieftain and Chairman, Oyo Pacesetters Transport Company, Dare Adeleke has expressed confidence in Governor Makinde’s ability to give the party it’s best eleven to lead the party to victory in the election.

Adeleke, gave the assurance while hosting the Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige at his Oluyole residence recently.

Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige was at the residence of the PDP chieftain in continuation of his consultation to PDP leaders and stakeholders in Ibadan South East and North East federal constituency to seek their blessing to contest for the House of Representatives election to represent the said federal constituency in 2023 general elections.

Adeleke while assuring party members of the readiness of the party towards the election said Makinde who is the leader of the party in the South West Zone, will ensure fairness and will ensure the right people get the ticket.

“Our leader, His Excellency, Seyi Makinde is the captain of the ship. I am very sure that his political testaments so far, will surely give us victory.

He’s the leader and the captain of the ship. His achievements will surly give us victory.” Adeleke noted.

will not impose any unpopular candidate over the wish of the majority of the party faithfuls that might affect its chances during the election.

“His Excellency is the major factor to decide and advice and we trust him.”

Adeleke, who is the former south west Youth Leader of the PDP, stressed that he is aware that the party, under Makinde, will be transparent and will create a level playground for all members aspiring for various elective positions, without giving undue favour to any of the aspirants that will affect the party in the election.

Adeleke however advised candidates to study the legal guidelines before jumping in.

“I strongly advise the contestant to read the new signed electoral guidelines.

I hope they are not waiting for the party to tell them how to do that “
