Dare Adeleke Congratulates Lekan Balogun on Appointment as 42nd Olubadan
Oyo PDP Chieftain and Executive Chairman, Oyo Pacesetters Transport Company, Dare Adeleke has congratulated the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Lekan Balogun.
Adeleke in his message to the Olubadan, said his appointment as the 42nd Olubadan is set to usher in great tidings for the people.
He noted that “having served his country in both private and public capacities, Senator Balogun more than equipped for the role of Olubadan of Ibadanland.
“I know that the best man was nominated and his ascension to the throne is divine and having excelled in both private and public service, Senator Balogun is eminently equipped for the role of Olubadan.
“Having mentored and been a father to so many of today’s top personalities in Ibadan land, I can say categorically that Senator Balogun has more than contributed to the socio-economic structure of Ibadan in particular and Oyo in general.
That many still look up to him as a revered father figure, is an attestation of his leadership qualities, largeness of heart, open door policy and closeness to the people irrespective of status or class.”
