PDP appoints Dare Adeleke as Chairman for Akure North/ South Bye-Election 

The National Working Committee of Peoples Democratic party (PDP), has appointed former Southwest PDP Youth Leader and Chairman, Oyo Pacesetters Transport Company, Dare Adeleke as Chairman to serve on the Akure North/ Akure South Federal Constituency Bye-Election Screening and Ward Congress Appeal Panel. 

A statement signed by National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Umar M Bature indicated that the party appointed Hon. Ayum Akindele as Secretary while Hon. Samuel Olayemi was appointed member of the committee. 

The committee will consider appeals arising from the screening of all Aspirants of the party and the conduct of Ward congresses to elect 3-Ad Hoc delegates in Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency for the upcoming Bye-Elections. 

According to a letter sighted by Mouthpiece NGR on Saturday, both appeals are scheduled for Monday January 31st at the party secretariat in Ondo state. 

Confirming the development, Hon. Dare Adeleke said that the party would continue to give all aspirants a level playing field.
