LAUTECH SUG partners BibloFoundation, award Grand Tuition Fee Scholarship to two Students

As part of the campaign promises by the current LAUTECH Students’ Union Government with ARISE agenda under the leadership of President Adeboye Anuoluwa, the Office of the SUG President in partnership with BibloFoundation awarded Grand Tuition Fee Scholarship to two LAUTECH students; An Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Students respectively.

The selection of the scholarship winners took place at the Zoom App meeting on Thursday, 20th January 2022 during the unveiling of the dynamic website of biblofoundation.com where a live quiz test was conducted as a way of picking the potential beneficiaries of the Grand Scholarship. 

Today, 24th January 2022, the respective winners of the Grand Tuition Fee Scholarship were awarded and their tuition fee for the 2021/2022 academic session has been paid for.

The presentation took place at the  Vice Chancellor’s office and was graced by the University Management, Ag. Vice Vice-Chancellor Prof. M.O Liasu, Dean Students Affairs Prof Azeem Ige, Deputy Dean Students Affairs Dr. Adepoju, and the representatives of BibloFoundation Mr. Mudashiru Ajayi and Mr. Adejumo Ridwanullahi.

A big congratulations to Oyebode Feranmi, a 300L student from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (Indigenous Student) with a scholarship tuition fee of one hundred and five thousand naira only, and Gbadamosi David, a 200L student from the Department of Computer Science (Non-Indigenous Student) with a scholarship tuition fee of one hundred and twenty-seven thousand, five hundred naira only for being the beneficiary of the Grand Tuition Fee Scholarship.

In his remarks, the Ag. Vice-Chancellor of the University commended the Adeboye Anuoluwa led administration for the brilliant feat and Biblo Foundation for the partnership. He then called for more recurrences of this in the University. Mr. Mudashiru Ajayi representing Biblo Foundation thank the University Management and SUG President for seeing the financial need of the students and the University for producing such an amazing leader. He charged the winners to utilize the financial opportunity and do brilliantly well in their academics. While responding, the SUG President, Adeboye Anuoluwa said this is a reminder that this administration is concerned about a student and their academic welfare and this administration is here to serve and ARISE a better LAUTECH for all.
