Hon. Ajibola lauds Makinde for Iseyin-Ogbomoso project, congratulates new Ogbomoso South LG appointees

A member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Hon. Olawale Jelil Ajibola has lauded the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde for the approval of 76.7km Iseyin/Fapote/Ogbomoso road.

Ajibola, in a statement made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Saturday, described the project as a masterful initiative to develop the state’s economy through good road network.

Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday, approved the construction of the 76.7km Iseyin/Fapote/Ogbomoso road at the cost of N43.1billion.

According to him, such a critical project is important and consequential to the economy growth of Iseyin/Ogbomoso and will enhance the smooth running of day-to-day in the region.

“I want to commend the Government of Engr. Seyi Makinde for taking up this initiative of Iseyin-Ogbomoso road project. I am bold to say that this action by the administration is in continuation of the broader policy objective of making the local economy of Ogbomoso and Iseyin more robust and competitive.

In a different message, the House of Assembly hopeful also congratulated the new appointees in Ogbomoso South Local Government, charging them to see their appointment as opportunity to give their best.

Mouthpiece NGR had reported the approval of new appointees (SAs & LG commissioners) by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

Hon Ajibola urged the new appointees to be dutiful and diligent in their respective offices, adding that the masses are counting on them.

“I congratulate all our new appointees in Ogbomoso South Local Government for being recognized and also wish to urge them to be dutiful and diligent to the course of Ogbomosoland”- He said.
