PDP Southwest solidly behind Oyinlola as Deputy National Chair, not traitor— Dare Adeleke

An Oyo PDP Chieftain has said that the PDP, South West, has not and will never adopt any other candidate other than former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola as it’s candidate for the position of Deputy National Chairman (DNC) Chairman, in the soon to be held national convention of the party.

In a statement released in Ibadan, Thursday evening, Adeleke stated that the zone will never align with traitors of the party.

Part of the statement reads: 

“It did not come as a surprise that some elements in the South West are celebrating a false narrative and putting it forth as the position of the South West zone.

The news that Osun State has adopted Wale Oladipo as Deputy National Chairman Candidate is a diversionary and coming from the stables of agents of destabilisation.

The man Wale Oladipo, a known ally of Alli Mordu Sheriff was very present and acted in connivance with Sheriff who plunged the PDP into crises. Our party will never forget how the two dubious men colluded with and attempted to sell the party to the APC. Never again shall we have anything to do with traitors. 

It must be noted that the PDP South West is  solidly behind Fmr. Gov Olagunsoye Oyinlola. 

The Deputy National Chairman position was zoned to South West because of Prince of Okuku, the Barrister of great integrity. 

We, the South West PDP are indeed grateful to His Excellency Gov. Seyi Makinde, who deemed it fit to support Gov. Oyinlola for that position.

I assure everyone that there is no turning back.”
