Eid-el-Kabir: Leader Ogbomoso South Legislative Arm, Alao Tunji felicitates with Muslims

Leader of the House, Ogbomoso South Local Government Legislative Arm,  Hon. Alao Stephen Olatunji, has congratulated Muslims as they commence on Tuesday the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Sallah festival, enjoining them to ensure that peace, charity and love for one another remain their watchwords during the Sallah season and thereafter.

He urged them to redouble their efforts and work for the unity and progress of Ogbomoso South and Oyo state in entirety as they equally pray for Oyo state Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.

He said the occasion of the Eid el-Kabir celebration calls for repentance and forgiveness of one another especially now that the country is facing numerous challenges.

He urged the Muslim faithful to intensify their prayers for peace in the country, and admonished religious leaders to lead their followers properly so that they do not depart from the truth.

The leader assured that the legislative arm would continue to be guided by the wishes and aspirations of citizens and residents of Ogbomoso South council area in the onerous task of making laws for peace, unity and good governance.

Hon Tunji added further that, “as we gather to celebrate with our friends and families, we must never forget our country in our prayers. Nigeria and Nigerians need love more than ever before in light of our current challenges; and therefore we must remain relentless in our prayers to God to bless our land with love and peace.”

“On behalf of my fellow lawmakers, therefore I wish our Muslim brothers and sisters happy Eid-el-Kabir” he added.
