Re: Ememanka’s open letter

Today, writing open letter is now the only means of talking to our elders, Ememanka is known for this as he demonstrated same when Distinguished Senator Nkechi J. Nwaogu Ph.D raised issues about the level of decay in Abia.

While we welcome this channel of communication, we also will like to warn that when we pen down our feelings about the way Abia is being run, nobody should remind us that our brother is the Governor and needs to be protected.

My brother, Let me take you back memory lane Barrister Emeka Wogu won the seat for the Aba south / North federal seat in 1998 under DPN and won against non Aba Ngwa candidates.

In 1999 he was also the candidate of PDP but some Aba la Ohazu indigens of APP then worked against him in favor of Tony Enwereuzor who was from Ntigha in isiala Ngwa North and subsequently they went ahead to subvert and shortchange ndi Aba la Ohazu in their bid to represent our people including sabotaging Hon Blessing Nwagba by supporting Uzo Azubujke who was also from umuosu Nsulu in isiala ngwa north.

Your open letter as the chief press Secretary to the Governor is placed with a lot of political grease just to score very cheap political points for your master who is interested in going to the Senate in 2023 but like his cunning way is busy telling the gullible how he would love to go back to the class room.

If we may ask, which class room, when he has demonstrated total disdain to anything academia. Tell me why all the education institutions are dead under his current administration. Our schools have not had it easy even with improved allocation.

Abia Poly still brings owned 23month, Absu 9Months, Absuth 20 months likewise College of Education Technical also being owned 24 months. One wonder how he will look at these colleagues if he leaves office by 2023.

Emeka Wogu is an Ngwa man by all standards and will continue to be Ngwa. During the PDP flagoff campaign at Etche road last week, right before our Nde Eze and Ngwa leaders of thought including the Governor, the Speaker, Chinedum Orji while at the podium after disrespecting the PDP candidates calling and shouting his name to run to the podium told the crowd that Chimaobi Ebisike will only go to complete the outstanding two years while Alex Mascot Ikweighche will go next by 2023.

He went further to say publicly that Aba North and South federal constituency has always being shared / rotated between Ngwa and Bende.

Every Ngwa man in that occasion did not utter any desenting word but murmured from the back including the CPS as they can’t challenge the acclaimed owner of Abia state.

Today we have seen them rise up as emergency towncryers of Ngwa solidarity. This is politics and we will consider our political interest first.

If the love for Aba la Ohazu and Ngwa in general is the major consideration in the choice of the representative of Aba North and South, why will our people and PDP conspire to send a candidate that is not credible enough, someone that dropped out of Secondary school at the expense of a Phd holder in Law ?

At Abuja, competence and political sagacity is key as the official meduim of communication is English language and not Ngwa. Abuja is not Aba North local government. As an Ngwa man we need credible candidate that will guarantee purposeful representation as we saw under Ossy.

On the NEWMAP world bank project which has started around Ngwa road and Obohia, it is instructive we make these classifications so that we don’t deceive the gullible public.

This project was first initiated and abandoned by TA’s adminstration. As a Minister, Emeka Wogu made attempt to engage Sure P to handle this flood water management around these areas but it was considered huge beyond what Sure P could handle and outside their terms of reference.

Emeka Wogu and late Ossy Prestge jointly engaged Ngozi Okonjo Iwuala who naturally should take credit for this intervention on the need to expand the scope of this job to accomodate the current scope of the project

Okezie adminstration only provided 500m for host community resettlement which we are sure did not happen as the funds went back to private pocket.

The N27.4b is a loan at 4% which will be paid back by the state for 10 years from next year hence our foreign loan portfolio has grown astronomical under this govt.

Its is deceitful for the State to claim that Abia State paid counter part fund as this should have been N13.5b instead of 500m paid by the state. Counter part fund in the right sense is half of what you get in most cases.

Dr Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo Iwala including Hon Aruoma Oteh our sister then with the World Bank that worked hard to ensure that Ngozi’s husbands village in Ohuhu Umuahia that was being ravaged by gully erosion was saved then Aba flood water management.

It is instructive to note that it’s same APC led National Assembly and Federal Ministry of Finance that facilitated this loan as it failed under PDP hence TA adminstration abandoned it.

APC govt has delivered over 80% of Enugu / PH Express way being the first time since 1978 the road is witnessing a complete reconstruction including the $5.6m diagnostic centre at Umuahia..

Let us move away from primordial sentiment and vote a candidate that has exposure and can express himself in public. We need to put our best in front as a State..

Vote APC ..Vote purposeful representation..
