Ebonyi NAPPS takes the lead as Southeast leaders storm the state

In line with the directives of Chief Yomi Otubela who is the National President of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools [NAPPS], the Ebonyi State chapter of the Association has taken a bold step to host the Zonal leadership of the Association, which is in tandem with the Presidential directives that all the State chapters of NAPPS across the country should be visited by the Zonal Leadership, to familiarize with members at the grassroots and State levels, and know what their problems and challenges are, with a view to finding a lasting solution to them.  

Recall that the National President of NAPPS, Chief Yomi Otubela, had during the last weekend in Makurdi, Benue State when he visited the North-Central Zonal chapter of the Association on a 2-day Working visit, assured members of NAPPS Nationwide, that his administration is committed to alleviating the burdens that have hitherto plagued from effectively running their schools, and also promised to commence a State-to-State visit, to enable him find out peculiar challenges associated with each State, in order to address them squarely, using his good office as the National President of the Association.

He therefore directed his Lieutenants, the National Vice Presidents of the Association in all the six geopolitical zones of the country, to take up the challenge and see that all the States within their zones are visited and properly sensitized on the programs and policies of his administration, and well as know what their problems are.

In obedience to that, the National Vice President of NAPPS, South-East, Barr. Mrs. Nonye Enemuo, led a cream of leaders of South-East NAPPS to Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital today, Friday,  the 12th day of March 2021, where she shared the vision, programs and policies of the National President to members of NAPPS who turned out in their numbers to welcome and listen them. By this singular move, the South-East chapter of NAPPS has become the first Zone in the country to take such a step after the National President made his intention to tour States across the country known.

In his opening speech, the State Chairman of NAPPS, Ebonyi State, Elder Kingsley Igboke, appreciated the National Vice President and her entourage for coming to give the message of hope to his Ebonyi members, saying that he had already intimated his members about the innovations that Chief Otubela is bringing into NAPPS, and they are ever ready to work with the National President in his pace.

Declaring the program open, the National Vice President, Barr. Nonye Enemuo eulogized the National President for the commitment and sacrifices he has made so far in ensuring that NAPPS remains an Association to beat. The National Vice President who took her time to address  the mammoth crowd of Proprietors who gathered, outlined retinues of projects that the National President is coming up with, and charged them to  queue behind the National President in ensuring that his vision for the Association is achieved in record time. 

Also speaking, the Assistant National Financial Secretary of NAPPS, Comr. Blessed Ogbuehi reiterated the efforts of the National President, and encouraged Ebonyi NAPPS members to show their unflinching support to Mr. President, saying that that, will encourage him to do more for the Association, which will in turn be for the interest and benefit of all.

In his speech, the Zonal Treasurer of NAPPS South-East, Prince Okey Ufomba, charged members to be up-to-date in their financial commitment to the Association. He reminded them that  the only way to show support to the National President in achieving his vision for the Association is by being a committed financial member, adding that no Association or Organization will succeeds without funding, hence the need to be an up to date financial member of NAPPS, from the grassroots to the National level.

In his vote of thanks, Chief Onyeoma Kelechi-Agbo, who is the immediate past Chairman of NAPPS Ebonyi State and the current Deputy National Vice President of NAPPS South-East, said that they are very happy with the National President, Chief Yomi Otubela for the visionary and proactive steps he has taken so far, adding that the National President has proven to the world that he has all it takes to be a leader, and that they will always support him to ensure that the beautiful programs and projects he has attracted to NAPPS remains an enduring legacy.
