Orire LG boss repairs bulldozer abandoned by previous administration since 2011

The Caretaker Chairperson, Orire Local Government, Hon. Lydia Bankole has repaired a bulldozer allegedly abandoned by the previous administration since 2011.

Bulldozer is an effective piece of heavy machinery used for a variety of projects such as— shallow digging and ditching; short-range transportation of material; spreading soil dumped from trucks; rough grading; removing trees, stumps, and boulders; and cleaning and leveling around loading equipment.

Mouthpiece NGR gathered that the bulldozer was abandoned after being knocked down since the first tenure of APC government.

Speaking, the Chairperson, Hon. Lydia Bankole thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for the opportunity given to her to oversee the affairs of the council.

She said Orire LGA is one of the serving LGAs of the state comprising the towns and villages of Ikoyi-Ile, Oolo, Abaja, Abeabaja, Acute, Afekulu, Afun, etc, adding that the bulldozer will be used for deforestation, earth removal, and ground flattening.

Bankole noted that her administration is ready to serve and make life more easier for the good people of Orire local government.
