VIDEO: Joe Biden phones daughter of LAUTECH medical graduate to White House
Mouthpiece NGR can report that the newly elected U.S president has invited a US-based Nigerian family known as the Oke’s from Ibadan to the White House.
Dr Francis Oke, a medical graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, and his daughter, Josephine Oke were recently greeted by US President Joe Biden over phone for a period of 12 minutes.
According to Biden, they were randomly selected from a list of campaign donors as he appreciated them for their support.
Josephine, 12, and her father spoke to First Lady Jill Biden as well.
During the call, Biden praised Josephine for her intelligence and even cracked jokes with her.
He also spoke to her father, Dr Oke and asked where in Nigeria he’s from.
