A Chieftain of the Oyo People’s Democratic Party (PDP), enigmatic politico, socialite, business woman and founder/CEO, ARA foundation & National Coordinator of Nigeria women in Politics, Princess Aderonke Rahmat Adedoja has waded into the simmering crisis among some leaders and members of the party in the state recently and sued for peace.

In a statement titled “ Let Peace Reign”, and made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Sunday by his media assistant, Kehinde Gbadeyanka, was of the view that such quarrels within the party were unnecessary at this point in time.

Adedoja appealed to all concerned parties to shield their swords and allow peace to reign.

She noted that such issues need to be addressed within the protocols of the
party, instead of in public glare that project the party and government in bad image.

The statement read “Firstly, I commend His Excellency on the great works well done so far and ongoing laudable projects across the state. May God continue to give him strength to paddle the affair of the state.”

“Current political scenario that brought about verbal attacks from different political veterans call for proactive and quick intervention of our dear Governor.”

“Basically in politics there is always disagreement, expression of interest and internal crisis but factor or attitude that is capable of destroying the structure and the success already made should be averted.”

“His Excellency good intention is incomparable but need to outcast the sycophants and ill advisers who are the roots of the discord and don’t mean well for his success.”

“HE Seyi Makinde should use this sensitive and delicate time to positively respond to people grievances by adopting the reports collated by the reconciliation committees set up by the party in appeasing to agrieved members.”

“HE Seyi Makinde should remember the frantic and relentless effort made in wrestling power off the APC that had spent good solid eight years in power.”

“The agrieved political leaders and members expressing their grievances should do it in a way that will pave way for peace and bring further progress to our great party.”

“Once again, HE Seyi Makinde should display his administrative acumen to settle the political uproars and appeal to the agrieved persons, caution those fueling the crisis and do the needful things.”
