Bayo lawal commends Makinde on LAUTECH

The Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation Barr. Bayo Lawal has commended the Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for his resilience and wisdom which brought about the peaceful ceding of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho to Oyo State.

Barr. Lawal in a Statement in Ibadan noted that, the take over of the University by Oyo State after years of crisis surrounding the ownership of the thirty year old Institution has again underscored the commitment of Engr. Makinde to the provision of qualitative education to the people of Oyo State.

He noted that past attempts at resolving the issue did not produce the needed result because of absence of commitment on the part of initiators of such moves.

The former Attorney — General of Oyo State also lauded the Osun State Governor, Chief Isiaka Oyetola for his Co-operation towards the eventual resolution of the impasse.

The Chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation was of the opinion that the institution as a fully — owned Oyo State Governments institution will regain its lost glory within a very short time.
