#ENDSARS killing: It is unfortunate this happened in my ward, Alasa— Legacy mourns

Former House of Representatives aspirant and member of Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. John Adisa Oke has received with shock and sadness, news of the death of Jimoh Isiak who was killed during protest in Ogbomoso on Saturday. 

Oke, in a statement made available to Mouthpiece NGR on Sunday, described Isiaka’s death as a rude shock, stating that it is unfortunate that the incident occurred in his ward, Alasa.

He said: “Just few weeks ago, Ex-student of LAUTECH and one other had an accident along Grammar school after a truck conveying tree rammed into their car. Though survived.”

“But Hours after the killing of Isiaka on Saturday during #ENDSARS protest, another accident also occurred in the evening claiming lives of two people.

“I am not happy with the situation. My heart is heavy, he said.

Oke who joined members in mourning the death of Isiaka promised to pay a visit to the family.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the entire people of “Ajilete” and prayed that God Almighty will comfort Isiaka’s family, relatives, colleagues in his ward and all the people of his constituency.

He further prays that God will, in His infinite mercies, grant them the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss of the very promising young man at the relatively youthful age of late twenties.
