LAUTECH loses staff (photos)
A staff at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Mr Ladoke Oyegbola, has died.
The late Mr Ladoke Oyegbola was involved in an accident on Saturday while on his way home.
An eyewitness who spoke to Mouthpiece NGR on Sunday evening explained that a vehicle hit his bike from behind while making U-turn off express heading to his house along Jesus House Redeemed Christians Church of God, Isale General, along Ogbomosho- Ilorin Road.
He was rushed to hospital immediately after the accident yesterday and gave up the ghost at about 3am today.
The late Mr Ladoke Oyegbola, until his death was a staff at the school Public Relation Unit.
Confirming the incident, an academic staff of the institution said “a giant in LAUTECH Media settings is gone.
He described his death as a sad development especially at a time people are preparing for Easter.
It is a sad news to us. The community is in grief. It is a grievous situation. I am short of words, he added.
