Chairman of the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Pastor Akinade Alamu has announced on Wednesday that the commission will open a portal to make the exercise free for applicants.
Akinade while featuring on a radio program in Ibadan, the state capital said the site will be active as from Thursday.
He said “This morning, we just finalized the arrangement to make the form available online for people to download and fill.
“You can go online, download the form and fill and you submit to any of our offices” he said.
“The application form would be in circulation for two weeks after which the applicants will write an aptitude test.”
“The addresses of our offices are as follows: Ibadan Zone 1, Leaf Road, opposite NTC; Ibadan zone 2, Bishop Philips Academy, Iwo Road. People can go there to obtain the form. Oyo zone is located opposite Ajayi Crowther University’s main gate, Oyo. In Ogbomoso, they can obtain forms at the TESCOM zonal office, Atenda, Ogbomoso. At Saki, we have our office at the Old Teachers College.”
“In Eruwa, they can get it at our zonal office located at the local government headquarters. People can also come to the headquarters here at Secretariat to obtain the forms. Nobody should collect any money from any applicant.”
Mouthpiece NGR learnt the form will be accessed via www.tescomrecruitment2020.com.
There are other reports too that another site may be reopened tomorrow for easy access. But above all, the site will be officially known tomorrow.
The development came following public outcry and stress applicants are undergoing in various locations to get the form.
