Breaking: Sacked Chairmen defies Makinde, broke into offices in Ogbomoso, others
The chairmen of local government areas and local council development areas, LCDAs in Oyo State on Monday outrightly defied Governor Makinde breaking into offices.
Mouthpiece NGR repots that some members of ALGON resumed this morning in their various council secretariats.
Problem had ensued following the sacking of council chairmen elected by the administration of former governor Abiola Ajimobi by the current administration.
Governor Makinde appointed caretaker chairmen for LGAs and LCDAs to fill the void last months, this was after many court cases have been instituted in court.
It was gathered by this reporter that Lanre Olaosegba of Ibarapa North-East LCDA, Lanlate, resumed at the council secretariat with his councilors while, Barr. Daud Suleiman Abayomi of Ogbomoso Central LCDA also resumed with his councillors also.
Abayomi, who was beaming with smiles and excited while a prayer was ongoing, said “the gate to the secretariat and his office were padlocked but they were broken. He added that policemen were at the entrance and that nobody stopped them.
The son of the former Governor of Oyo state, Olamijuwonlo Akala also resumed at the Ogbomoso North local government secretariat.
Including the chairman of Ogooluwa local government, among others.
