PHOTO: Oyo Commissioner Awards Scholarship To Orphans

One of the newly appointed Full Time Commisioner for Local Government Service Commission ( LGSC), Hon. John Adisa Oke has sponsored some orphans on scholarship at Best Legacy Group of Schools. 

The scholarship will afford the students to study from basic to tertiary level. 

The orphans were picked from Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Orire local government. They will be resuming this month for academic session. 

Best Legacy Group of Schools, comprising of Nursery and Primary School, Secondary School and College of Education is one of the leading Schools in Ogbomosho. 

The Director, Hon. John Adisa  Oke through Chief Isiah Kolawole Adisa- Oke Foundation  has continued to sustain his father’s legacy by giving scholarship opportunity and assisting the less privileged. 

Last year, he spent close to N90 million on Empowernment, Scholarship, financial support to disabilities, and other programs that were beneficial to the citizens.

Speaking with Mouthpiece NG, the commissioner called on other politicians to invest in human resources. He stressed that education is the best legacy to be given to a child and a way to affect our society positively.
