Oyo: Meet The Youngest And Newly Appointed Board Member of Local Government Service Commission

John Abisoye Adisa-Oke, popularly known as Omo baba Legacy, is a Nigerian Businessman, Politician, Educationist and Philanthropist from Ogbomosho, Oyo state. He was born into the royal lineage of Songolade Royal family of Aare Alasa dynasty to Late Chief Isaiah Kolawole Adisa-Oke and Iyabode Aduke Oke.

He grew up in Lagos and Ogbomoso respectively. For his primary and secondary school studies, he attended Tade Nursery and Primary school at Apapa-Lagos while his secondary school education was at Best Legacy International High School,Ogbomoso in Oyo state. 
Mr Oke obtained NCE from Best Legacy College of Education, Ogbomoso, where he was trained on how to impact knowledge and value to people’s life.
This emerging icon is a visionary and dynamic leader with proven track records of success in various fields. He has proven to be highly experienced and competent in the areas of education, agriculture hospitality, leadership, engineering and building business partnership. He has a very strong track-record of using professional experience in all nooks, notably within academic, government, NGO and industrial setting.
For his quest for more knowledge via university education, he later gained admission into Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), where he bagged his first degree (B.Technology) in Pure and Applied Chemistry.
For his second degree, he had his Master degree in Oil and Gas management at Coventry University, United Kingdom.
During his time at LAUTECH, he combined extra-curricular activities with academics which made him more globally exposed before traveling out of the country.
He did his NYSC in Imo state after graduating from the institution.
Hon. John Adisa-Oke is a creative and well exposed youth. He has gone through a lot of professional programs in Russia, Germany, Belgium, France, Portugal, and Netherland, Ghana and in the United States of America.
As a visionary and exemplary leader, he was the Senior Prefect at Best Legacy International High school Ogbomosho, also, an active member of Society of Chemical Students of Nigeria, LAUTECH chapter. Outside Nigeria, he was a foreign student coordinator at Coventry University, United Kingdom.
Hon. John Abisoye Adisa-Oke has travelled to at least 30 countries around the globe.
Upon arrival to his home town, he has touched many lives especially the youths. He has continued to prove his mettle as a thoroughbred technocrat through many laudable initiatives, incentives, and empowerment schemes.
Today, he’s one of the leading private investors in Ogbomoso as he has employed more than 250 staff members who are all indigenes and the bread winners of their family at Best Legacy. 
Also, He’s the Managing Director of Integrated John Group which are subsidiaries of Venus Hotels, Adisa Farms and Venus Procurement and Engineering Company.
Hon. John Abisoye Adisa-Oke is currently the Chairman Governing Council of Best Legacy Group comprising Best Legacy College of Education Ogbomosho, Best Legacy International High School Ogbomosho, and Best Legacy Primary School Ogbomosho, which was established in 1996 by his Late Father, Chief Isaiah Kolawole Adisa Oke. The Best Legacy Group has staff strength of over 250 of which about 80% of them are from Ogbomosho. The position of the school has been able to attract and gather students across all the 36 states of the federation to study in the ancient town, whilst help a lot in socio-economic development with a student population above 1500.
His father, Late Chief Isaiah Kolawole Adisa-Oke is a Philanthropist and Politician of high repute which during his life time contributed massively in the Socio-economic development of Ogbomosho and its environs and was known for his educational scholarships to less-privileged in Ogbomosho.
Baba Legacy as fondly called by his people was known for his aphorism which is: “Investment in human resources which is the greatest asset” to be given to anyone. 
Late Chief Isaiah Kolawole Adisa-Oke contested for the position of Federal House of Representative on the platform of PDP in 2003, 2007 and Accord Party in 2011 but lost out. He never stop aspiring until his last breath in 2013. This is why his illustrious son joined politics to continue his father’s drive of charitable and humanitarian services.
Hon. John Abisoye Adisa OKE has given over 50 youths scholarship opportunity at Best Legacy College of Education to become trained teachers (NCE. He has also paid for 100 youths-JAMB/WAEC/NECO forms respectively. He has been able to train about 500 youths and widows in skill acquisitions, self-reliance program and financially empowered to be independent.
In addition, he has given scholarships to orphans and has continued to extend it to children below the age of 11 years as he has offered full scholarship for them covering from primary school to university level.
Mr John Oke never left handicap and destitute behind with seminars and financial support every year. He has also continued to organize different Seminars and retreats for indigenous Famers and business women by constantly orientating them about likely challenges, solutions and how to maximize and manage their resources, coupled with financial support.
Hon John Abisoye Adisa Oke is a technocrat and has been in politics since 2013 after the death of his late Father. He was in Accord Party under the leadership of Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja , Pa Timothy Beyioku and Alhaji Wahab Oyelade which later fused into PDP in 2017.
He was politically adopted and baptized by Senator Hosea Agboola and Governor Seyi Makinde during Ogbomoso political tsunami prior to the 2019 general election. 
Mr Oke was the director of youth, Seyi Makinde campaign council till he was appointed as a Board Member, Local Government Council Commission. 
Appreciating God for the new appointment, Mr Oke specially thanked Senator Hosea Agboola Halleluyah and his Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde for the opportunity given to him to serve. 
He also thanked the women leader , Ogbomoso North, Alhaja Kahdija Rainbow, Mr Tewogbola Cash Man, Mr Taiwo Alagbe, Chief Johnson BANKOLE, women leader of Ogbomoso south, Princess Toyin Olaniran, party leaders and members for their unflinching support.
