BREAKING: LAUTECH Loses First Made Professor

Reports reaching Mouthpiece NG news room says the first made professor in the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso has passed on. 

Professor Julius Ipadeola Olaifa who was born 69 years ago died on Saturday evening at the school teaching hospital after a brief illness. 
Olaifa graduated from OAU with first class and joined LAUTECH in October 1990 as a lecturer. 
He was the first Head of Department of Agronomy and the first elected Dean Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. 
The deceased who survived by wife and children hailed from Ilora, Afijio LG of Oyo state and was the first LAUTECH made professor. 
As the first LAUTECH professor to get grant from government, he was the first to have a research break through on LOCOST LOTTION that was translated to 140 languages in the world  by FAO Food Agriculture  Organization. 

Olaifa, a professor of toxicology and entomology was the first professor in LAUTECH to deliver inaugural lecture. 

Confirming his death, the JAC chairman of the institution, Alhaji Alesinloye said the deceased was an outstanding and award winning professor who has travelled to all continent of the world. 
He prayed that God should grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss. 
The Asuu Chairman, Dr Abiodun Olaniran who also confirmed his death to Mouthpiece NG prayed for the family of the late deceased.
