NYSC Member Unlocks Ideas Against ‘Child Abuse’ In Delta State

Abidoye Shinnayomi Samuel Popularly known as Samuel O. ABIDOYE on his social handles was involved with one of our correspondents, Adedamola in a text talking about his personal yet very massive community development project as a Corps Member serving under Warri South, Delta State.

Abidoye with the State code, DT/18B/1215, after bringing together corps members of like minds has started off with his personal community development project which he tagged ‘Visionaries’ Campaign Against Child Abuse’ – V-CACA. 
He has succeeded in securing few places specific to carry out this project after several passionate search. 
According to Him, this Project rolled into reality with a visit to Ubeji Grammar School, Ubeji, where students in their hundreds were talked to and properly sensed on this menace for it has become an alarming issue in this part of the country. 

Questions were asked and Samuel was so much on course that he did justice to every inquiry and the students returned to their various classrooms touched to the core by the facts and realities packed sensitization.
From Ubeji Grammar School, Samuel has been able to seize one platform or the other in various schools and many other social gatherings to get people aware of this menace, organize a committee that can help oversee the affairs of the project in each venue and attend to people undergoing the ordeal. Some of these places are Ogbe Secondary School, Army Day School I, Army Day School II, D Cornerstone Academy among a host of others.
Greatly marveled by the idea and passion of this young corps member, our correspondent went further to ask what made him conceive such an exclusive vision, his response reveals that he has been in the business of serving humanity for a while. Samuel disclosed that the project was founded by an NGO founded by him as a student of the Mass Communication Department of Olabisi Onabanjo University.

I had in mind legion of ideas when NYSC sounded her clarion trump,” said Samuel, “but on getting here, I carefully studied the town of Warri which took a whole. After my careful study, I brought my ideas together under one umbrella which is this movement – Campaign against Child Abuse “. “I realized that we are all products of how we were managed while growing up and in this part of the country many were mismanaged and deranged during growth. With this project, however, transformation will become of Warri,” he continued.
Until we have shaken this cankerworm off the root of this town, we are going nowhere, Samuel said as he closed by soliciting help from everyone out there, stating how himself and his team intend reaching out to more Children and adults, organize programs will enable them to reach out to a wider audience and make Warri a home conducive enough for positive minded kids, teenagers, young adults and adults.
