JUST IN: EFCC Arrests Controversial Singer, Rapper Zlatan Ibile, Other Suspected Yahoo Boys (Photos)

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Lagos Zonal office,  on Friday arrested two upcoming  Nigerian musicians – Afeez Fashola (aka Naira Marley) and Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael (aka Zlatan Ibile), in connection with alleged case of internet fraud and money laundering.

They were arrested due to Intelligence report that also linked them to cybercrime offences.

Others included Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa.

Their arrest followed early morning raid on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 9, Gbangbola Street, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.

Mouthpiece NG gathered that items such as laptops, phones and other items were found and recovered by the commission at the point of arrest. 

The suspects have so far volunteered useful information about their involvement in the alleged criminal activities, even as investigations continue, Mouthpiece NG learnt.
