PHOTONEWS: Oyo PDP Holds General Elections Thanksgiving Service

The PDP Ward 7, Ido local government on Sunday held a program, tagged “2019 General Elections Thanksgiving Service” to appreciate God and the people of Oyo state for the victory of the party gubernatorial candidate, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the other candidates, Mouthpiece NG can report. 

The event which captured a mammoth crowd had in attendance, Malam Yussuf, Alh Akinsola Ayuba, PDP Chairman, Ido LG and Alh Fatai Adesola Adelakun, Ward 7 Chairman, Alhaji N. Adeoye and Alh K. Akande.

The party faithfuls danced with the joy and happiness of victory as they give thanks to God in honor of Engr Seyi Makinde (Governor Elect), Dr. Mohammed Kola Balogun (Senator Elect Oyo South), Hon Yemi Taiwo and Hon Abdul-Razak Adekunle Mabaje who are both federal and state assembly elect, at Alh Okunola Field, Araromi, Gbekuba, Ibadan on Sunday.

Speaking at the event, the State PDP Publicity Secretary, Engineer Akeem Olatunji in his goodwill message congratulated party faithfuls in Ido Local Government for the electoral success of all the PDP candidates.

Olatunji appealed to them to exercise patience with Governor-Elect Seyi Makinde, as he sorts out the challenges the outgoing administration is deliberately creating for him. 

He assured that everybody will enjoy the dividends of democracy.

Also in attendance was the party youth leader, Asiwaju Adekola Adeoye who admonished the youths to cooperate with the leaders and be of good behavior as they are the future of PDP.

Adeoye thanked God for the victory of the party while also commending the effort of Alh Busari Samad as one of the leaders of the party.

He urged the youth to also emulate Engr Seyi Makinde who despite all he passed through continues to accord respect and regards to elders which made everyone to key into his aspiration.

The joy of victory was palpable as Music was supplied by Sina Alao (Akomolede 1) and Cultural Display by a troupe from Abeokuta.
