VIDEO: Heartbreaking: Customs Officer Fires Man Dead Over N5,000
A video showing men of the Nigerian Customs firing and killing an unarmed citizen, has gone viral on social media, MouthpieceNG reports.
MouthpieceNG gathered that the officer, alongside his team, had acousted the road user along the ever-busy Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Godwin Onoja was asked to pay the sum of N5,000 as custom charges for his vehicle, which he refused, as he complained that the money was too much.
The victim was said to be returning fron abroad and traveling down to the eastern part of Nigeria, when the incident occurred.
