PHOTOS: Happening Now: Anti Election Protest Rocks Onitsha, Upper Iweka Shutdown

Members of the indigenous people of Biafra on Monday evening shutdown Upper Iweka axis in Anambra State in a peaceful protest over Biafra Referendum.

A Source who which to be anonymous told MouthpieceNG that “the decision of the protest is to create awareness on the upcoming Biafra Referendum and to enlightened the people to boycott the coming general election.
MouthpieceNG had gathered that IPOB fixed February 16th for Biafra referendum, a date which collide with the February 16 presidential election.

The Nigerian authority had since threatened to deal with the group if they should go ahead to disrupt the general elections as planned.
