Oyo 2019: Video: I Can’t Support Inexperience, Akala Slams Seyi Makinde

The former governor of Oyo state and the gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Party (ADP), Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala during an interview with BBC Yoruba on Tuesday, slammed the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Engineer Seyi Makinde  while reacting to the suspension of his son, Olamiju Akala as the chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government by councilors.

Akala was caught saying that he can’t support a candidate who has no any political antecedent, adding that Seyi Makinde and others whom without political experience should rather join his party. 

He wondered why people are not even saying he’s supporting someone like Lanlehin, ADC governorship candidate, who was once a senator of the state. 

Akala who spoke angrily during the interview said it’s only the people of Ogbomoso that have the power to suspend or remove Olamiju Akala and not the All Progressives Congress (APC) or anyone.
