Flash : 2019: Senate President Bukola Saraki loses re-election Bid To APC
Unofficial results coming in from Kwara state shows that Senate President Bukola may have lost his re-election bid.
The results obtained by MouthpieceNG has it that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Dr Ibrahim Oloriegbe is the winner with 151,763 votes, ahead of Saraki who polled 87,032.
Mr. Saraki, the current President of the Nigerian Senate, is battling to return to the Hallowed Chambers on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Kwara Central zone.
Saraki, who was elected on the APC platform in 2015, defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party late last year along his supporters.
