LAUTECH : School Management Charges N25,000 For Late Payment

The school management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH has penalized some candidates with a fee of N25,000 for failing to meet up with the school payment deadline.

Those affected are the candidates offered admission for the 2018/2019 academic  Session.
This is contained in a letter made available online and signed by the school registrar, J.A Agboola at its senate meeting on Wednesday.
“The University Management Committee at its meeting of Wednesday, December 19, 2018 observed that some candidates offered admission for the 2018/2019 academic session were yet to pay their tuition fees by Saturday, December 15, 2018 which was the deadline for the payment.
“Management particularly observed that many of the affected candidates have pleaded for another opportunity to make the payment.
“Having considered the matter at great length, Management decided to give the affected candidates up till Tuesday, January 15, 2019 to pay their tuition fee with a penalty of Twenty-five thousand Naira (N25, 000.00).
“All affected candidates are advised to make the best of this opportunity by paying up as the University will not hesitate to regard the offer of admission as having been forfeited by the new deadline.
In view of the development, there has been a mixed feelings on campus whether the old students may also be mandated to pay such amount for late payment.
