GSM Advocates Expands To 36 States And FCT, Rebrands As Makinde National Reset Advocates
The GSM Advocates, a political support group loyal to Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has announced a major repositioning and expansion of its network and operations across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
As part of the rebranding effort, the group has adopted a new identity: Makinde National Reset Advocates (MINARA).
The new identity was unveiled during the inauguration ceremony of new members drawn from across the country. While many members were physically present, others joined virtually to witness the historic transition.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, said the expansion and adoption of MINARA is a strategic move to strengthen the group’s organizational structure and ensure effective propagation of Governor Makinde’s Reset Agenda across Nigeria.
According to Olatunji, the GSM Advocates will continue to project and propagate the good governance strides of Governor Seyi Makinde in Oyo State, while MINARA will serve as the national vehicle to build a broader network, deepen grassroots engagement, and coordinate activities more efficiently ahead of future political engagements.
He noted that the inauguration marked the formal birth of MINARA and the official commencement of its nationwide operations.
Special guest at the occasion, Dr. Glorious, Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, commended members of the Advocates for their prompt and consistent dissemination of Governor Seyi Makinde’s good governance strides.
He lauded the vision behind the project, noting that it will ease the propagation of the RESET agenda across Nigeria.
Olatunji added that the group will soon announce its full structural and operational leadership across all states and the FCT to drive its mandate at the grassroots.
