Oyo TESCOM Chairperson, Oladipo Introduces Electronic Payment for Car Loan Disbursement

In a bid to enhance financial operations and convenience for staff, the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) Chairperson, Mrs. Olubukola Oladipo, has introduced an electronic payment system for car loan disbursement.

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that this move replaces the previous cheque payment method, which posed challenges for teaching and non-teaching staff, including unnecessary travel and delays.

The initiative aligns with Governor Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde’s directive to digitalize operations within Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

Mrs. Oladipo emphasized the importance of modernizing processes to ease tension and improve staff welfare, stating, “We are committed to ensuring that our staff enjoy seamless, efficient, and secure access to their benefits.”

The electronic payment system is expected to promote transparency, reduce administrative bottlenecks, and enhance financial inclusion among TESCOM’s workforce.

This development is set to improve the overall experience for teaching and non-teaching staff in Oyo State.
