SMATO Facilitates Another Batch of Youth Recruitment into the Nigerian Army

In his continuous commitment to youth empowerment and national service, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola (SMATO), Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Solid Minerals and Member representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, has again facilitated another batch of successful candidates into the Nigerian Army recruitment programme.

In a show of solidarity and support, Hon. Makanjuola, who was ably represented by one of his aides, visited the training camps on his behalf.

During the visit, Oyebamiji Timothy (Whyte) delivered cash support and words of encouragement to the young recruits—recognizing their courage and honour in choosing to serve the nation.

This latest facilitation adds to the growing list of employment and enlistment opportunities, Hon. SMATO has secured for constituents in the Nigerian Army, Navy, NTA, FIRS, Federal Medical Centre, and the Solid Minerals Development Fund.

Speaking at the visit, Oyebamiji noted:

“Hon. SMATO remains fully committed to building the future of this constituency through empowerment, access, and opportunity. These young men are not just recruits—they are ambassadors of Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere. Their future begins here, and our support must follow them all the way.”

This development reinforces SMATO’s vision of inclusive leadership—where youth are not spectators, but participants in the nation-building process.

Indeed, with Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola, the future of Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere, is not only secure—it is being actively built.
