Sabinus Visits Osimhen In His Lagos Mansion, Marvels At Footballer’s ₦369M Car
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is currently enjoying his holiday in Lagos, Nigeria, following a standout season with Galatasaray.
The 26-year-old goal machine is spending quality time with friends and Nigerian celebrities, including popular comedian and skitmaker Sabinus at his luxurious mansion in the Magodo area.
Osimhen, who scored 38 goals across all competitions to lead Galatasaray to a domestic double, the Turkish Super Lig title and Ziraat Cup, also clinched the Golden Boot and was named the Turkish Super League’s Best Player for the 2023/24 season.
After spending a few weeks in Istanbul to negotiate his future, Osimhen returned to Nigeria following a breakdown in talks with Saudi club Al-Hilal, who reportedly offered him a whopping €45 million per season. The Nigerian international turned down the offer, preferring to remain in Europe.
With Al-Hilal now out of the race, Galatasaray have emerged as frontrunners to secure Osimhen’s permanent signature, though Napoli, his parent club, still needs to agree to any deal. While Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United have shifted their focus to other targets like Liam Delap, Benjamin Sesko, and Viktor Gyokeres, unnamed European clubs, including one from Italy are said to still be monitoring the situation.
Osimhen Welcomes Sabinus and Celebs to Lagos Mansion
Osimhen’s Lagos holiday hasn’t gone unnoticed. A viral video shared on social media shows him receiving Sabinus, who joined other influencers in admiring Osimhen’s car collection. The moment that drew the most laughs was when Sabinus, leaning casually against a Lamborghini Urus, appeared stunned after learning that the SUV is worth ₦369 million.
The exotic car was reportedly bought by Osimhen last December to mark his 26th birthday, which he celebrated with fellow footballers like Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen. Also present at the event was influencer Shola, known for his “alpha male” branding, who allegedly discussed cryptocurrency trading with Osimhen during the party.
Fans Await Transfer Decision
While the striker enjoys the festive Eid al-Adha break at home, fans are eagerly awaiting updates on his next move. Osimhen’s preference for staying in Europe, despite eye-watering offers from the Gulf, has kept clubs like Galatasaray hopeful. His popularity both on and off the pitch continues to rise, especially among Nigerian celebrities and influencers, making him a central figure in both sports and pop culture.
