PTS Board: Vice Chairman Must Apologize for Unauthorized Actions

The Board of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service (PTS) has reiterated its unanimous support for Chairman Hon. Dr. Ibraheem Oladeji Salami Dikko, while pledging to continue aligning with Governor Seyi Makinde’s progressive policies. 

This decision was made during a special board meeting held on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

The board distanced itself from claims suggesting disunity among its members, reaffirming its commitment to Dr. Dikko’s leadership and the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance.

The board equally unanimously resolved that Vice Chairman Mogaji Oladosu must tender a formal apology for his unauthorized and inappropriate actions.

It clarified that all retirement decisions were made in strict compliance with the organization’s Conditions of Service, advising the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to refrain from undue interference.

The board however emphasized that the minimum academic qualification for administrative roles remains a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor of Science degree.

While commending Dr. Dikko’s leadership, the board highlighted significant strides in enhancing internal controls, transparency, and operational efficiency.

It lauded the Oyo State House of Assembly, particularly Speaker Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin and the House Committee on Transport, for their commitment to effective oversight.

The board pledged full compliance with the House’s resolutions and warned against any efforts to defame the organization or its leadership.

– It expressed profound appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering support and visionary leadership, crediting him with the ongoing transformation of the state’s transport sector .
