Oyo LG Chairmen Celebrate First Lady, Tamunominini Makinde on Her Birthday

The Forum of Oyo Local Government Chairmen has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the First Lady of Oyo State, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde, as she marks her birthday today, June 9.

In a statement issued by the Forum’s Public Relations Officer, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, the chairmen praised Mrs. Makinde for her unwavering commitment to public service, describing her as a compassionate and resilient figure who continues to play a vital role in supporting the administration of her husband, Governor Seyi Makinde.

According to the statement, Mrs. Makinde’s selfless dedication to the welfare of women and children has made a significant impact on the lives of many across the state. 

Her initiatives, the forum noted, have brought lasting benefits to communities through various empowerment programs and social interventions.

“We commend Her Excellency for her continuous efforts in promoting the wellbeing of women and children. Her passion and drive have been a source of inspiration, and her role in advancing the Omituntun 2.0 agenda has been commendable,” the statement read.
