Breaking News: Fatal Crash on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
A devastating accident involving six vehicles occurred early Tuesday morning at the Soka area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The collision, which happened around 8:00 a.m., involved three Nissan Micra taxis and three articulated trailers traveling from Ibadan’s Iwo Road axis.
MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the Oyo State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is on-site, with Sector Commandant Mrs. Rosemary Alo confirming ongoing rescue operations.
Emergency responders are working to free trapped individuals and provide medical care to the injured.
The accident has caused significant traffic congestion along the affected stretch of the expressway. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while emergency operations continue.

The FRSC is working to determine the extent of injuries and possible fatalities.
