SMATO Donates N3m to Oyo (PDP) Central Senatorial District, Pledges Continuous Support For The Party

Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola (SMATO), Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Solid Minerals and Member representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, has donated N3 million to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State.

This donation is part of his efforts to ensure the party’s strength ahead of the 2027 election, During the Central Senatorial meeting held at Iresa Adu, SMATO reiterated his commitment to the party and its leadership.

He emphasized that the N3 million donation is just the beginning, as he is dedicated to doing more for the party that enabled him to be elected into the National Assembly.

The federal lawmaker called on party members to unite behind Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership, praising the governor’s performance and commitment to taking care of party members.

He highlighted his own legislative achievements and projects in the Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa Federal Constituency, promising to ensure that party members also benefit from his initiatives.

The lawmaker pledged to continue supporting the party in any capacity required to position the PDP strongly in the Oyo Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 election.

The meeting also featured donations from other party leaders and stakeholders, including government functionaries.

Present at the meeting included Ogooluwa Chairman, Hon. Ojo Oluwaseun; Surulere Local Government Chairman, Adegbite Isaiah, and host of other party stakeholders across the Oyo Central Senatorial District.
