SIX Years of Purposeful Leadership and Inclusive Governance in Oyo State— Timothy Olufemi
Executive Assistant to the Governor on Disability Matters, Timothy Olufemi, proudly commends His Excellency for his commitment to inclusive governance, infrastructural excellence, and people-centered policies that continue to redefine progress in Oyo State.
“Governor Makinde is not just a visionary; he is a leader with heart,” said Timothy Olufemi. “Under his leadership, persons with disabilities have not only been seen but heard. His policies continue to break barriers, promote equity, and provide unprecedented access to opportunities for marginalized groups.”
From massive road constructions, employment opportunities to accessible healthcare schemes and improved education for all, Governor Makinde has proven that true development is inclusive. His administration’s bold decisions in the areas of education reform have positioned Oyo State as a beacon of good governance.
Some landmark achievements in the past six years include:
• Expansion of the Omituntun Buses to include accessible transport for persons with disabilities.
• Recruitment of teachers and specialized educators across all LGAs, ensuring quality education in both urban and rural communities.
• Oyo Disability Fund and Inclusion Policies, pushing forward the economic empowerment of persons with disabilities.
