Police Academy Unveils Upgraded Parade Review Vehicle
The Police Service Academy in Kano State has formally unveiled a completely refurbished Parade Review Vehicle, a valuable asset that represents discipline, tradition, and the ceremonial pride of the Nigeria Police Force.
The unveiling was done by the Academy’s Commandant, AIG Patrick Atayero, at an event held on Friday at the Nigeria Police Academy premises in Kano, Kano State.
A statement by the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Umar Musa Isah, said the ceremony aligns with the Commandant’s steadfast goal of enhancing the Academy’s professionalism, discipline, and structure.
“The Parade Review Vehicle is a proud example of our leadership’s dedication to maintaining important resources that uphold police tradition and operational efficiency,” he said.
“As a mark of continuity, the project which was initiated by DIG Sadiq A. Abubakar, the immediate-past Commandant, was carefully maintained and completed by the current Commandant, who continues to champion initiatives that enhance cadet training and institutional pride.
“The vehicle plays a critical role during parades and ceremonial functions, reflecting the dignity and regimentation expected in police training environments and serving as a platform of honor for reviewing officers,” Isah added.
The Commandant, supported by senior officers, inspected and test-drove the vehicle. He reiterated the need for all departments to embrace maintenance culture and ensure the Academy’s assets are preserved for future generations. The Police Service Academy in Kano State has formally unveiled a completely refurbished Parade Review Vehicle, a valuable asset that represents discipline, tradition, and the ceremonial pride of the Nigeria Police Force.
