Oyo Deputy Gov Celebrates Chief Adebisi Adesola’s 80th Birthday

Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, and his wife, Chief (Mrs.) Ajibola Lawal, on Saturday, attended the 80th birthday celebration of Chief Adebisi Adesola, former Oyo State Secretary General (SSG), at Bodija Baptist Church, Ibadan.

The event was also attended by former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola, Oyo State Government officials, friends, and associates.

During the church service, the Deputy Governor paid tribute to Chief Adesola for his trailblazing achievements in public service and wished him well.

Recalling their long-standing relationship spanning over 30-40 years, Barr. Lawal described Chief Adesola as a big brother and family member, appreciating his contributions to his family.

He highlighted the celebrant’s remarkable trajectory in public service, from BCOS to his appointments as Head of Service and SSG.

He praised Chief Adesola’s humility, intelligence, and contributions to the civil service, describing him as a pride of Oke-Ogun zone.

The Deputy Governor attributed Chief Adesola’s youthful appearance and mental stability at 80 to his commitment to exercise and healthy living.

While advising Chief Adesola to continue sharing his wealth of experience with others, he suggested that he write about his life experiences.

Lawal however appreciated those who attended the celebration and prayed for Chief Adesola’s long life and prosperity.
