The groundbreaking foundation laying, held at Orile Odo on a piece of land donated by the Oyo state hospital management board under the leadership of the executive chairman of the board, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, who expressed confidence in enhanced well-being of NYSC members serving at the Council.

The initiative according to the Council boss, aims to provide safe and comfortable accommodation for NYSC members posted to serve in the local government area, thereby addressing long-standing challenges surrounding the housing of corps members in rural and semi-urban locations.

Olatunji, speaking at the event, stressed the importance of supporting the NYSC scheme through sustainable infrastructure, noting that when completed, the Lodge will house Corp members who will also enhance service delivery at the general hospital in Oluyole.
