Oke-Legacy Attends PDP Meeting, Donates ₦500,000

Member of the Oyo Local Government Service Commission, Hon. John Adisa Oke (Oke-Legacy), has donated ₦500,000 to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area. 

The donation was made to support party members ahead of the Ileya festive celebration.

According to a post on his Facebook page, Oke-Legacy made the donation on Friday while addressing members of the party at a local meeting held at the DC primary School, Orita Naira. 

He expressed gratitude to God for his guidance over Governor Seyi Makinde’s stewardship in Ogbomoso and Oyo State.

Oke-Legacy also used the opportunity to appreciate the Governor for his reappointment in the Local Government Service Commission, as well as the Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi, and Alhaji Razaq Agbeti for their unwavering support. 

He reaffirmed his commitment to the progress of the party and called for unity among leaders to strengthen their performance in future elections.

The post read:  “Yesterday, we attended the Ogbomoso North PDP Local Meeting, where we were warmly received by our esteemed Party Chairman, Mallam Hamzat, and other dedicated party members.

“It was a moment of reflection and thanks to God for His guidance over Governor Seyi Makinde’s stewardship in Ogbomoso and Oyo State at large. 

“We also used the opportunity to appreciate our performing Governor for my reappointment, and to thank our respected leaders, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi and Alhaji Rasaq Agbeti, for their unwavering support.

“As always, I reaffirmed my commitment to the progress of our great party and made a personal donation of ₦500,000 to support its ongoing activities.

“During the meeting, I also seized the opportunity to not only reconnect with my people but also call for unity among us leaders, as this is crucial to strengthening our performance in future elections.”

MOUTHPIECE NGR gathered that Mr John Legacy also donated a sum of 100,000 to PDP ward meeting as part of his commitment to the development of the party.
