Ogunlade attends Ogbomoso North PDP meeting, urges unity, progress 

The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, on Friday, attended a crucial PDP general meeting in Ogbomoso, alongside prominent leaders as part of efforts to rightly position the party head of 2027 election.

The meeting saw a significant boost in the party’s strength with the defection of Hon. Ouwasegun Adedirin Ejalonibu from the SDP. 

During his address, Hon. Ogunlade emphasized the importance of unity among party members, stressing that more opportunities are on the horizon for the PDP. 

He reassured the people that his office is always open to assist and support them in any way possible.

The Oyo Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade, who was also part of the meeting, highlighting his unwavering commitment to the party’s success. 

He charged members not to relent or weaken, emphasizing that success follows those who aim for it.

Other notable stakeholders, including former LG Chairman, Alhaji Kabiru Ayoade and Alhaji Abu Salami, however called for unity and progress within the party.

They equally urged members to remain steadfast and committed to the party, assuring that greater things are on the way.

The meeting was attended by prominent party members, including Hon. Sunday Bankole, Oyo State PDP Treasurer; Hon. Hamzat Ibrahim, Party Chairman; Hon. Abu Salam Arije; Alh. Kabiru Akanji; Hon. Jide Oketunbi; Hon. Salawu Taofeek Adigun, Vice Chairman; Alh. Edison Garuba; and council appointees, including Council Secretary Hon. Bolanle Olaniyi, Leader of the House, and host of others.
