Irepo LG Chairman, Olayiwola Congratulates Governor Makinde on Six Years of Transformational Leadership in Oyo

The Executive Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola, has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, on the occasion of his sixth anniversary in office, lauding his tenure as one marked by transformational leadership and inclusive governance.

In a statement released on Thursday through the media aide, Salaudeen Abdulmuiz Tobi, Hon. Olayiwola praised Governor Makinde for delivering impactful progress across key sectors such as security, education, infrastructure, agriculture, and the economy.

“Your Excellency’s six years in office have brought a new dawn of development and stability to Oyo State,” he said. “Your investment in security has enhanced the safety of lives and property; your reforms in education have restored dignity and access to quality learning; and your infrastructural projects have bridged the gap between rural and urban communities.”

He also noted that under the Makinde-led administration, agriculture has received strategic attention, with support for farmers and agribusinesses that have contributed to food security and employment, while economic policies have empowered local enterprises and improved the state’s revenue base.

Hon. Olayiwola expressed deep appreciation to Governor Makinde for his dedication to the upliftment of all zones in Oyo State, including Oke-Ogun. “We are proud beneficiaries of your people-centered leadership, and Irepo Local Government remains solidly aligned with your vision for a prosperous Oyo State.”
