In a momentous occasion yesterday, Hon. Jacob Oluwale Ogundiran, the Executive Chairman of Oorelope Local Government, warmly welcomed the Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Adebayo Lawal, to his alma mater, Irepo Grammar School. This visit coincided with the school’s 60th anniversary celebration, marking a significant milestone in its history.

On May 7, 2025, Deputy Governor Lawal returned to Irepo Grammar School to inspire students and alumni alike, urging them to invest in the future of education and the community. Addressing a gathering of eager students, dedicated teachers, and fellow alumni, he emphasized the vital role that past graduates play in nurturing the next generation. “It is our responsibility as alumni to give back to the institutions that shaped us,” he stated passionately. “The future of our younger generations lies in our hands, and together, we can create a supportive environment that nurtures their potential.”

During his address, the Deputy Governor shared poignant anecdotes from his time at Irepo Grammar School, reflecting on the values and lessons that have guided him throughout his career. Hon.
