Dr. Saka Balogun: A New Chapter as Balogun of Ogbomosoland- Ogunlade says

Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, has extended his warmest congratulations to PDP chieftain Dr. Saka Balogun on his appointment as the Balogun of Ogbomosoland.

In a statement released by his Media Aide, Alade Toheeb on tuesday, Hon. George Ogunlade described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Dr. Saka Balogun’s dedication, service, and loyalty to the Ogbomoso community. 

He praised Dr. Saka Balogun as an open-minded and straightforward leader.

While expressing confidence that Dr. Saka Balogun would bring wisdom, dignity, and continued development to Ogbomosoland, the chairman noted that the former Oyo state Chief of Staff has consistently demonstrated true leadership and dedication to the growth and unity of Ogbomosoland. 

He said: “Dr. Saka Balogun elevation to the esteemed title of Balogun is a testament to his enduring contributions and deep-rooted connection to our heritage.

“ As you embarks on your new role of service and leadership, we pray that God grants you the wisdom to lead with integrity, the strength to overcome challenges, and the longevity to leave a lasting legacy in Ogbomosoland.”

Hon. Ogunlade however expressed gratitude to His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde for playing a pivotal role in Dr. Balogun’s appointment, acknowledging the governor’s vision for the development and progress of Ogbomoso land, he said.

In conclusion, Hon. Ogunlade wished Dr. Balogun a successful tenure as the Balogun of Ogbomosoland, praying that his leadership would bring peace, prosperity, and progress to the kingdom.
