Tinubu is surrounded by kleptocrats, 2027 Not Looking Good For Him – Ali Ndume

Seun Okin: You have spent a long time in politics. So you should know, if you look at the crystal ball, do you think Tinubu can have a comeback in 2027 with what is going on right now? Your prediction, what is it?

Ndume: Yea, that is if they work on it.

Seun Okin: But things are not looking good right now.

Ndume: Yea, you know that. Both circumstantially and also evidently. Why I said circumstantially is because there is a global turndown that contributes to the economic downturn, increase in inflation and downturn in the value of the Naira. And then, if you look at the Presidency itself, been unable to carry people effectively, especially politicians, I mean politically.

And also, I said it here before and I was really thinking whether I should say it again, even though I stand on it. If you have kakistocrats and kleptocrats dominating the democratic space, you have a problem.

Seun Okin: Is that what is happening right now?

Ndume: Yes, because the democrats have been abandoned. I said it before, it cost me my job, and I don’t know whether next now I will be expelled from the party for saying this.

Seun Okin: Are you afraid of expulsion or suspension?

Ndume: I am not.

Seun Okin: You have tasted it before.

Ndume: Several times. I even went to prison two times for saying the truth.

Seun Okin: Where are these kleptocrats? Are they around the ….

Ndume: They are in the system because things are not working and many people are responsible for that. So whom do you blame? Do you blame the President? NO. It is the people around him.

Seun Okin: And you call them kleptocrats?

Ndume: Yea

Seun Okin: Meaning people who steal?

Ndume: Yea

Seun Okin: And they are stealing the Nation’s money, is it that bad? Some of them have been accused in the Buhari Government, the past Government .

Ndume: When you say kleptocrats, it’s not like they are stealing. 

They are in Government to make money.

Seun Okin: So that is their focus?

Ndume: Yes. So most of the time, they don’t care about what is actually going on. Their focus is what they can make.

Seun Okin: Is Tinubu aware that he has kleptocrats around him?

Ndume: I don’t know, go and ask him. I know what I am saying. I said it before and was removed, I don’t know what will happen again but I know there will be backlash. I don’t care… I said it before sometime when I was on AriseTV talking about some issues, I said it that attack dogs will come after me and they did. Only one person did not bite me, but two did.
