Oyo majority leader, Sanjo Adedoyin felicitates with Christians on Easter

Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, Majority Leader of Oyo State House of Assembly and representative of Ogbomoso South State Constituency, has congratulated the Christian Association of Nigeria, particularly in Ogbomosoland, on the occasion of Easter.

In a statement released by his Senior Legislative Assistant on Media Strategy and Public Communication, Adedoyin urged Christians to use the Easter celebration to promote love, unity, and togetherness among all residents. 

He encouraged them to reflect on the lessons of Jesus Christ’s suffering, crucifixion, and resurrection, emphasizing the importance of commitment, dedication, selflessness, focus, and discipline in the face of adversity.

Adedoyin prayed for peace, unity, good health, and abundant blessings for the people, wishing them many more joyful Easter celebrations.

The statement read: “My brethren, I enjoined all of us to learn and make use of all the lessons that death and resurrection of our Lord and His eventual appearance at Gallile teaches us at this crucial time of our nation building.

“Crucifixion of Jesus Christ teaches us to be committed, dedicated, selfless, focus and be disciplined even in the face of adversity and if we persevere there is always light at the end of the tunne.

“It is my prayer that as we celebrate this year Easter in peace and unity ,may we live in good health and abundant blessings to celebrate more of it IJMN  the statement concluded.”
